Color	This trailer isn’t bad, but is going to require some additional work. Before airing up the tires, pull them off the wheel and inspect the tubes and rim tape. I found the tape had shifted and exposed the spoke nipples. It was also thin and was broken on one wheel. I ended up running some black electrical tape over it to secure it and beef it up (as suggested by my LBS, they didn’t have the rim tape in stock). Both tubes where also damaged, it looked like the machine that processed them had a burr that caught both of them and thin sliced a bit off. I filled them air and tried to burst them, and they held, but I ended up getting new tubes anyways.The biggest issue I have with the trailer is the wheels. For starters, they are only 16 inch while the frame of the trailer will easily accept a 20 inch wheel (I test fitted some 20’s from another trailer I have). When this trailer is hooked to either of my bikes (a 26 or a 700c) there is a very noticeable difference in height between the front and the back because of it. I measured anywhere from 2 to 3 inch difference. My test fit also indicated an issue with the hub spacing. As soon as I’m able though, those wheels will get swapped out.The wheel axles have a flat edge on them (I can’t recall what is it is called), thus making them a smaller diameter in the dropouts. The dropouts themselves are setup to accept it. This prevents me from using the 20 inch wheels from my other trailer on this one.The wheels are also radially laced (the spokes do not cross).The tires are cheap BMX tires with knobes, I suggest replacing them with/like  Sunlite Freestyle BMX Kontact Tires, 16″ x 1.75″, Black/Black  or smootherThe stock hitch system looks to be ok, but I have other trailers so I needed to replace the hitch with the Burley flex connector system ( Burley Design Flex Connector for Round Tow Arm (Black) ). While my tongue was square tubing, It was too small for the square flex connector. The round connector worked great.Another beef I have with this trailer is that it does not track center with the bike. It sits offset to the left of the rider. Even after I replaced the hitch with the Burley connector it still wasn’t enough to bring it to center. I didn’t notice any problems pulling it, but I’m sure it will cause the tires to scrub harder.Now, the trailer frame itself is pretty good. I had no problems putting everything together and all the holes lined up. I did notice some sloppy welding but it is only cosmetic. It is easy to carry one handed and will fit through doors without having to tear it down. I found the size to be rather small, it could easily be larger without sacrifice. I figured i should have been able to drop a kids 12 inch bike in it with no issues. A rubber tub in it will help alot.Your bike should have fenders, something that are long in the back. Some sunny days still have mud puddles in the middle of your path and you don’t want to damage your cargo.** Update **I still wanted to use 20″ wheels in this trailer so I ended up filing out the drops so they accept standard diameter wheels. It worked great.
Material	After much research and reading many reviews, i knew what i was buying with this trailer! I knew i may need to replace the cheap tires and rims. I knew i may need to replace the plastic trailer bed with something better! With that being said, when i got my package and opened it, i was very happy to discover that i got a set of different rubber tires than what is shown in the photo. I got a set of smooth road tires with mine. The frame was a bit hard to fit together, with a bit of force it went together just fine! Once all was assembled, i attached it my bike and put in a plastic tub with about 40 pounds of stuff in for a test run. It handled very well with out any problems. I am sure that i will have to replace the tires and rims with something of better quality soon! Until then, i will beat the ones it came with for now. Over all, not bad if you know what you are getting before hand. Thanks!!
Power Source	Great little trailer! I thought the shipping was a little extreme but it was here in a day and a half, so not bad! The trailer assembled in about 15 minuets and is very light. The only reason for the four rating is the tires are really cheap and out of round, I tried putting soap on the rim edge to seat them to the rim, but that was not the problem as they have high spots so it thumps a bit going down the road. I am hoping to file the rubber down on the high spots or just get some new ones. The trailer tows great! I bought a rubber/plastic box at Home Depot that fits right inside the rails and is lockable.So! now I do my shopping and running around with this behind the bike as it will carry my groceries for a week with no problem.I live at the Oregon coast and the little chrome spring attached to the coupler to the bike is starting to rust but will coat that with some light grease. At almost 72 years young I can still leave a small carbon footprint by leaving the car sit in the drive.March 18, 2013: Just an update, I would not want to discourage anyone from purchasing this trailer, But! after numerous tries with the wheels and tires (even an attempt to have them trued)they are really junk! I finally had to buy some alloy rims and new street tires and this made so much difference, I no longer thump going down the road I have also found that I am going a little faster with the same energy. I believe it would have been better for the manufacture (china) to charge a little more and put some decent rims and tires on it to begin with.
