I did still have to grind a rivet on the mount-arm of my trailer to fit in the coupler, but this was because my trailer is from an (established, but) slightly lesser-known brand, and must differ slightly from the most popular model of trailer.Still, a couple minutes with a Dremel tool is far preferable to having to replace a whole bike trailer over an axel that was 2mm too wide for the old mount…Sometimes you have a problem, and the Internet’s already solved it with a perfect, affordable solution. I bought this particular one because someone else had the same issue and it worked for them so I figured why not give it a try for $8? Unfortunately this part has the same issue as the original model. My axle fits through the hole no problem, the issue is the cam locking nut on the end. The locking nut is larger than the space provided on this part thus my axle only catches about 2 threads when it screws in. The issue is my axle, not this part. The images show my problem and my axle model. FYI my bike is a Jamis Nemesis. The reason I knocked 1 star off was the fit of the pipe from the cart. Others have mentioned it is a tight fit and I agree. I had to wedge it in the and then pry it off. The original manufactured part slids on without an issue.
