| Model Number | I had a difficult time trying to decide which thing to buy to take my 14month 26lb son for bike rides with me. All the reviews I found were from Lance Armstrong parents. I am not about that 50 mile a day bike ride life. My bike rides range between 15 minutes to an hour if I’m feeling crazy. This seat was the best choice for me I think because I like to be able to actually see what my kid is doing because if I turned all the way around to look at him I’d most likely run into a parked car. With him right in front of me, no worries. He was super excited to be seeing things in the front I think. He was comfortable because he fell asleep and rested his head on the front padded thing. My husband is an engineer and said it took him an hour to put it together on the bike. Once on you wouldn’t want to take it off. Put it on as far as you can towards the front though. I had to have him move it up because I am knocked kneed so that made it harder to pedal but I got a killer thigh workout in. I would recommend this product to everyone. |

Seen A seat that kind of went on the handle bars which seemed kind of weird found this one and was worried about my legs hitting the seat. Took a chance with the wee ride and OMG WE LOVE IT!!! Installation was simple and way more sturdy then it seems… the seat is attached by one bolt which may seem a little iffy but I found it easy for taking off the seat when I have to mount it on my car. I purchased a men’s bike because i was scared of “what if this thing collapsed falling on the bar would give me time” but like I said this contraption is so sturdy it’s not going anywhere. We usually hop on the bus so I mount my bike to the front and I leave the seat on and it doesn’t move or get in the way of other bikes mounting on the bus. Started riding with my daughter when she was 7 months in the photos she’s 9 and the front part where she can lay her head is perfect because she always goes to sleep. I’ve been able to average 10mph with her on the front without any problems or worry. We pretty much have been bussing and biking everywhere this summer because it’s so convenient and being able to get some exercise in with her has been fun also. We’re a one car household and I’m a stay at home mom who hates being stuck in the house lol so this is EVERYTHING for when I want to get out with my daughter |
| Material | I was very hesitant to buy this. My daughter is 2 years old and I didn’t think I would get that much use out of it, nor did I think that I would like it. I had my father mount it, because well, I ask him for everything. He told me that it was incredibly easy to do and that I could have done it myself. I went and bought my daughter a helmet and tried it out.My daughter fit in it great and there is still plenty of room for her to grow in it. My daughter is 30lbs and 3ft tall, which is big for her age. What I like about this seat is that it has the highest weight restrictions so I am confident that I can use it next summer as well.I have a bike trailer but I thought it just felt boring putting her in there and not being able to talk to her while we rode. I love having her in front of me on the bike and she loves it too. I thought that it would be difficult to ride a bike with her in front of me, but its not. I am 5’11” and was afraid that it would be very uncomfortable, but sitting down it really doesn’t impair my ability to pedal or steer. With that being said, hills are definitely not fun with this, for the sole reason that in order to get up hills most people have to stand and pedal. Thats one thing that I have difficulty with, not being able to stand to pedal to go up hills. On the plus side though, I am getting a great workout trying to make it up hills while sitting down. :)I would definitely recommend this seat to any of my friends. I think its a great product and my daughter loves it too. Just do yourself a favor and don’t get your kid a helmet that comes to a point in the back, you will regret it as it jabs you in the chest. |

I am 5ft 8in tall and I do have to ride a little bow legged but its not bad. I love having him safely tucked in front of me. The weight distribution is most noticeable when getting on and off the bike, I am a novice bike rider though and I am sure as I get better it will be easier.We did install this ourselves, as well as our new bikes from Christmas. We ended up taking them into a bike shop for safety checks and the guy said we had the pole on upside down and so he fixed it.We have a hitch bike rack on the back of my SUV and it fits well with the seat attached but fits better without the seat. Luckily its SUPER easy to attach and unattached, one little knob and it doesnt require tools.Looking forward to many fun bike rides with the little one. |
