| Model Number | So I’m convinced that the majority of the bad reviews are from people who expect perfection straight out of the box, not very mechanically inclined and can’t read directions, AND…assume that the product wasn’t sitting in a box for more than a few days. Upon receipt of the carrier I brought it home, proceeded to unbox the trailer and assemble the unit. The directions cannot be any clearer!! I repeat…THE DIRECTIONS ARE QUITE CLEAR!! Lots of pictures and clear verbiage. I quickly followed the directions and put everything together. I actually read the majority of reviews for the product prior to purchase and assumed I may find a slightly warped wheel and flat tires. Be realistic, the trailer was probably in a packaging box for several weeks before it was sent out. Everything may have been perfect during packaging but the time from then to receiving the trailer could be a month to several months. Tires do get flat with time and even the best packaging could still result in a small bend here and there because of the way it’s handled during the delivery. Anyway, I put the unit together, inflated the tires a bit because they were a kinda flat…not completely flat…just a little, attached my bike to it and rode around the block. It was perfect. Later on I put my 15 month old in it and used it as a jogger and jogged around the block. Still perfect. That weekend we took it around an 8 mile stretch of paved walkway, and everything was fine. Axles turn very smooth with absolutely minimum resistance. I loved it. My baby fell asleep in it for half the ride. I’m assuming the shocks must work very well also. We did another route the weekend after with hills, and even when you’re pulling the trailer up a hill you barely feel the weight.For those naysayers and haters out there, I’m going to disappoint you, there isn’t a whole lot of bad to say about it. Assembly was simple enough. I expected the tires to be a bit flat, which was easily remedied. The outer shell is all nylon…I’m assuming…works great as a wind barrier, and the plastic windows attached to it is tinted, so my baby doesn’t get direct sun. Wheels weren’t warped, frame wasn’t damaged, everything was fine. Pushing it as a jogger was also very smooth. The pushing handle seems a little light duty, but I suppose right now it may be too early to critique that part. So far it’s holding up nicely. The only bad thing which is completely minor, is the small plastic part inside the receiving end of the trailer that attaches to the bike and provides a small amount of stability – that came off and I lost it somewhere using it as a jogger. However, that small part doesn’t really effect functionality so…no big deal really. I e-mailed the folks at crosslinks, explained the situation, and they sent a replacement part at no extra cost!! I had a feeling they were good because most of the reviews mentioned great customer service. When deciding between this trailer and the, “Aosom Elite II 3in1 Double Child Bike Trailer” I chose this one because the customer service reviews were a lot more positive than negative. I’m totally confirming that customer service is top notch!! Shout out to Araceli at crosslinks customer service!!!Anywho, if you’re on the fence about buying this thing…buy it. I have absolutely zero buyers remorse. Expect a semi – flat tire, and if the shipping folks are only marginally gentle with it I don’t think you need to worry about a bent frame or incur any other damages. And if crosslinks manages to maintain great customer service, let them know and they’ll fix you right up!! The wheels look to be normal bicycle wheels, so if you’re in a rush…your local bike shop should be able to repair it. If they can’t, they shouldn’t be operating a bike shop because even I think it’s pretty easy to fix…tedious…but still easy nonetheless. It’s a great product and I hope to be using this for a few more years. |

When i came across these hybrid style bike trailers that double as a stroller. It was perfect. Now there were a few i was looking at one around $115 and this one and one other. This one was worth the extra $$. The tires are amazing, and the structure of everything is so well built. The brake isn’t really a brake its a lock. So when you press it, it sends a bar into the wheel gear to lock them up. Not bad. Also you can pin (the brake handle) shut so the stroller wont go anywhere with it locked. The rain and screen have no zipper, just hook/loop shut at the bottom and sides. Again not a big deal no zipper. The seats are so comfy and raised. I had a bike trailer i bought years and years ago at Kmart, that the seat wasnt raised up. This seat is raised so the kids legs aren’t cramped. And my 18m old daughter likes to actually sit in that little foot spot if we’re strolling around the block.All in all this was a wonderful purchase and it will be getting a ton of use this year!! |

Now our jogger/trailer is good as new!Original review:I was hesitant to buy this jogger/trailer because of the minimal amount of reviews it had but I’m so glad I made the purchase. Admittedly, it was a little confusing to put together from the weirdly written instructions, but I was able to figure it out eventually. I assembled it on my own and everything fit where it was supposed to.The main reason I picked this trailer over similarly priced ones is because the description says that the seat is reinforced with plastic and is sturdy. I think, especially considering that the price is very affordable, that this product is very well made. The material for each of the pieces is high quality and seems very durable. I have two boys, one 15 month old and one 4 year old. They both fit inside very comfortably and have plenty of room. We take this for walks at night and apparently it’s comfy enough for the little one to always fall asleep.The conversion from a bike trailer to jogger is easy enough and pole for the bike hitch folds conveniently underneath the trailer when not in use. I have no complaints so far! The back storage area was big enough for us to have a diaper bag and small 14-can cooler stored there for a day festival we took the boys to. |
